Welcome to the presentation of Catalysti ry – Association of Transcultural Artists in Finland!

You don’t have to be a foreigner to encounter difficulties to find your way as an artist in the bureaucratic jungle of this country. Natives can at least fall back on old connec-tions that might bring them further, but immigrant artists have to invent the wheel themselves. So why not offer a hand to each other, is the basic incentive for this as-sociation. 

Catalysti ry is 

? creating a network of transcultural artists of different art fields 

? offering information and advice about possibilities for artists in Finland (in cooperation with Arts Promotion Centre / Regional Artist on Cultural Diversity and after 2013 independently) 

? promoting transcultural activities and events 

? dealing with cultural policies 

? maintaining the website www.catalysti.fi to inform about grants, calls and events and to present artists profiles 

In the meeting on May 15th you can get to know the members and activities of our association. You can than decide if you want to apply for membership of Catalysti. You can also get practical help for uploading your artist profile to our website.
