Welcome to Cinemaiss�to, an invitation to know Latin America through children�s eyes. The three-day festival is a celebration of multilingualism and cultural richness in Helsinki and Metropolitan area.

This year Cinemaiss�to is celebrated in three different locations. As every year, we will be in Luckan (Forum block, centre of Helsinki) on Saturday, September 28th, for the second time in Vuotalo (Vuosaari) on Saturday the 5th of October, and for the first time in Malmitalo (Malmi) on Sunday, 13th of October.

The themes of this years� Cinemaiss�to are Brazilian culture and the protection of the environment.

Latin Americans residing in Finland are teaching in more than 20 free workshops, ranging from circus, capoeira, forr�, music play schools, handicrafts and much more. Many of the workshops are for parents with children. We want to encourage non-Spanish and Portuguese speakers to participate. Most of the workshop leaders speak Finnish and English, otherwise interpreters will be available.
