Conversation Piece is a month long project exploring conversation styles (both verbal and non-verbal) and listening skills.

Artists Amal Laala and Sari TM Kivinen will create performances, visuals and exercises to explore ways of communication and non-evasive encounters with Stoa’s visitors in the lobby and balcony areas. 

Visitors are invited to add, be a part of, change and contribute. The aim is to encourage dialogue that engages with the diverse community at Stoa.

Conversation Piece is interactive and responsive to the site and will incorporate the languages used by the artists in their daily life: English, Finnish and Arabic.
