Catalysti + Vuotalo come together this Fall 2025 for a series of 6 artist-led workshops celebrating dance, drawing and sound, zine-making, language understood through clay, symbols of protection, and mushroom imaginations.

What is a mushroom? Could mushrooms help us tie our shoes? What about doing our homework? If they could speak, what would they say? I don’t know, let’s explore!
In this workshop, we will move like a mushroom, smell like a mushroom, and play like a mushroom: be ready to get silly together!
During the first hour, we will try short and fun exercises to imagine what our life would be like if we were a mushroom. During the second hour, each of us will make a mushroom card. It can be a drawing, a collage, or a mix of both. This card will be a memory, a friend, a little piece of mushroom fun you can take home with you.

How long should the participants commit for? 2 hours
Other considerations:
I am open to welcoming new participants on the spot, but this can happen either at the beginning of the session (16:00) or when we start making the mushroom cards (17:00).
Note that we might have a short walk outside during the first hour, so it would be good to have another adult with me.
