Kush Badhwar is an artist, filmmaker, and researcher who works across media, artistic, cinematic, and social contexts. A filmmaking practice has, across time, fractured into artistic research, collaborative practice and the use of sound and moving image to explore and intervene in ecologies of sound and image across time and colossal developmental narratives. Recently, he extended his practice by studying Urban Studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts, to further investigate social and spatial dynamics in settings such as under-construction airports and peri-urban environments. A talk ‘in and around the perimeter’ will lay ground for a shared discussion of working across or between mediums, disciplines and particular spaces.
