We welcome all members to join us for a picnic meet-and-greet at Alppipuisto on Wednesday 31 May, from 16.00-19.00 hrs. 

We’ll sit on the ground on blankets, some gentle music will play, snacks and drinks will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring something to share with the group too. 

We plan to spend a relaxed few hours getting to know each other. Catalysti’s new Artistic Directors, Katie Lenanton and Paola Nieto, will introduce their artistic practices and working methodologies in short workshops. The workshops will feature foraging and movement-based exercises. They’re also very interested to learn more about members’ needs and dreams, experiences of artistic practice, and working life, so feel free to bring along a burning question or provocation to share with the group in a facilitated conversation. 

Catalysti’s videographer and photographer Uzair Amjad will also be on hand to offer a free spontaneous Artist Portrait service for members in the nearby surroundings. If you’re keen, please register by mailing by May 26th. Places are limited, but we’ll do our best to fit everyone in, if the schedule on the day allows. 

You’re also welcome to share feedback, dietary requirements, accessibility and other needs by emailing by May 26th, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
