19, 20 and 21 August 2013 Biskops Arn� (near Stockholm) was the meeting place for artists and bureaucrats from the Nordic countries. Of the artists more than half were transcultural, the bureaucrats were all aboriginals. Five artists from all five countries: Iceland, Danmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

There was a lively discussion along the lines of Paul Tylers concept of “Handling Ideas” in ten steps. Most artists were confused and rebellious but also willing to try to follow a ten step trac�. Some groups came to astonishing collaborative plans, other groups kept staring at each other. Still, it was a unique way of meeting between unpredictable artists and invisible bureaucrats. Of course both groups are real people, but it needs an actual meeting place to see and hear each other just on that humane level. Great to be there.
