Fest Afrika festival aims to create networking opportunities and raise awareness of African musics. For this purpose, the festival hosts a music camp for a group of invited artist living in the Nordic countries

The participants of the music camp, together with other music professionals, will also get together for a seminar to discuss how we could increase the visibility of African artists and their activities in the Nordic countries. The objective is to promote collaborations between artists, organizers, and different institutions in order to increase the number of initiatives that reflect the cultural diversity in Nordic communities and that would make African musics more familiar to local audiences.
