What is a method to remember my work value?
19.3.2026 Artist talk with Tangmo Ladapha S.
From 10:00–11:30 on Zoom (request link via )
Tangmo Ladapha S. is a Bangkok-born performance artist based in Vantaa, Finland. Her artistic practice centers on live interaction and audience engagement as a way to explore memory, with particular attention to state violence, abuse of power, and repression. Working with the body as both medium and site, her work addresses questions of identity, positionality, and the relationship between personal and collective memory. At its heart, her practice is a search for visual language and experiences that linger, ephemeral yet enduring, explore and create what stay with audience like an afterimage: a sensation felt in the body, a memory they carry. Through participatory and experimental approaches, she creates intimate performative situations that reflect on time, history, and the formation of narratives. She holds an MA in Live Art and Performance Studies from University of the Arts Helsinki (2024).
