UPROOTED (Fake Nations) festival of 5 – 7 September 2013 in Helsinki.

UPROOTED (Fake Nations) is in the line of the Fake Finn Festival of 2011 and the Fake Finns & Wannabe Swedes of the beginning of this year. With these events we want to focus on artists of foreign origin and their contribution to cultural life in their new (sometimes already old…) home country.

In the three day UPROOTED (Fake Nations) festival we want to present ten immigrant artists from various countries and six of their Fake Finnish counterparts.
