Biographies:
The Norwegian clarinetist Andreas Røysum has for the past years toured extensively with bands like Miman, Increase and Målbrott, and has also collaborated with players like Axel Dörner, Tristan Honsinger, Elliott Sharp, Jasper Stadhouders, Kresten Osgood and Damo Suzuki. As a soloist he attempts to work with the physicality of the instrument, through utilizing it´s full dynamic range and textural possibilities. A diverse background and vast set of influences come into play; jazz, contemporary music and indian classical paired with a fascination for folk music traditions from all over the world, all subjected to abstraction.
Duo Cassag is formed by siblings Natalia and Sergio Castrillón, both classical trained instrumentalists, devoted improvisers and lately very active multidisciplinary artists. Besides their artistic career, Natalia and Sergio are crossing an academic path as well. Currently Natalia is part of the GLOMAS Master program at the Sibelius Academy and Sergio is working on his Doctoral research at the University of Helsinki. Since its formation in 2010, the duo has performed within different venues and contexts in Europe and South America.
