2 October 2013 the first meeting between Catalysti and Taike took place with the almost complete board of Catalysti and head of the Arts Promotion Centre of Finland (Taike) Minna Sirn�.

After a short introduction of our chair woman Edwina we shared ideas and visions on how to make the transcultural artistic voice loud and clear enough to be heard and taken serious. Transcultural artists have to make their profiles according their great activity. There are no “old friends” who might give them a tip or two… Minna agreed that transcultural artists should be included in the Taike’s various committees deciding about grants.

We agreed upon regular meetings once or twice a year.
