Isabela Hueara Carneiro is an Uchinanchu-Brazilian curator and writer based in Helsinki. Her most recent research focuses on Indigenous contemporary art and Indigenous-led curatorial methodologies, grounded in an autoethnographic approach. Her curatorial practice is invested in themes of belonging, memory, and community building, particularly in Indigenous and/or diasporic contexts. She often works collaboratively and through textual practices, treating writing as a curatorial tool. Hueara Carneiro holds an MFA in the Exhibition Studies Programme at the University of the Arts Helsinki and a BA in Visual Arts Education from São Paulo State University. @isabelahueara
