Catalysti will participate in Objekti festival 5.0 in Espoo centre, for Espoo Day on 31.8. with two events:
– concert with Pisara band on Espoontori at 11-12 am
– performance Kuuletko minua?/Kuuletko minnuu?/Вы меня слышите?/Do you hear me?
Both events are part of Diversity in Art: Art in Diversity, Catalysti two years project supported by Kone Foundation.
Free entry.
Pisara will perform in Espoontori at 11 am, with two sets of 20-30 min each. With Marouf and Gian Majidi, Ahoora Hosseini, Esko Grundström.
Pisara music consist in its own compositions and new arrangements of old traditional Persian and Kurdish compositions.

In the lobby of Espoo railway station in front of Trapesa at 1-3 pm you can meet an old and wise Ingrian woman and discuss life, death and everything in between. In Finnish, Russian and even in Ingrian dialect.
At the same time you can admire the knitted graffiti in the surroundings that has been created out of lace made by skilled Anarkisti Martat members.

This participatory and communal event aims to draw attention to the often hidden potential of elderly people and promote their status in society. This performance acts as a bridge to the younger generations so they can hear the wisdom of life experiences of the elderly. It also provides a perspective on the status of immigrants in our local environment and society.
