Welcome to watch a drag fairytale moment suitable for the whole family, which will be broadcast live from the MUU Helsinki Center for Contemporary Art!
Register for a fairytale virtual session for the whole family from this link.
Drag fairy tale is served by Maimu Brushwood o.s. Huolirinta: the fairy tales are told from the point of view of Ulla and Olavi. Ulla and Olavi are dolls and live in the back room of Miss Rauhala’s shop. The texts written by Maimu Brushwood deal with emotions and phenomena as well as friendship and difference.
At the end of each fairy tale, Maimu challenges the viewers to do an artistic task. If you wish, you can share a picture of the challenge you have completed in social media, using #maimuntaidehaaste #muuhelsinki.
The empathetic and mysterious Maimu is the drag alter ego of visual artist Timo Tähkänen.
This event is supported by TAIKE Arts Promotion Center.
