Artists-run art gallery and event space Myymälä2 will have a performance and two new shows opening at the beginning of Art Fair Suomi on Tuesday 08.06.2021:

• At 17.00, Catalysti member Parsa Kamehkhosh will perform outside and in the vicinity of the gallery.
• In the Wind – Sensing the Location Now is the title of a group exhibition by Mari Martin, Riikka Kevo, Marjatta Oja, Leena Valkeapää, and Oula A. Valkeapää, on view in the main gallery space.
• Depart, an exhibition curated by Ramiro Camelo and Yiling Wu, features the works of Pedro Aibéo, Suva, Egle Oddo, Timo Tuhkanen, and Kemê Pellicer, on view in the process-room of the gallery.Depart is a collection of works by five artists with different artistic practices. Their respective interests and reflections on plants, music, photography, performance, life and art constantly inspires them to depart to a creative place where they explore and express them through their own unique artistic perspectives and approaches.Taking the opportunity of Art Fair Suomi Goes Galleries, the exhibition Depart is a celebration of Myymälä2 Gallery’s coalescence, as it presents works and it is curated by Myymälä2 board members.
