I’m a Mexican-Spanish teaching artist based in Helsinki, Finland. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in acting. My education in dance has been a combination of autodidactism and the guidance of teachers who have taught and guided me in different dance styles, especially in contemporary dance. Their trust gave me the confidence to become a professional dancer.
As I continue to find ways to be active as an actor and dancer, I am also venturing into the conceptual art, visual art, and street art fields.
I teach contemporary dance, improvisation and dance to children and youth in collaboration with Helsinki City and work as a freelancer for adults – or schools/theatres/studios interested in acting, dance, and movement.
I am also interested in collaborating with other artists to develop and perform together, choreograph pieces, or facilitate workshops!
I am curious and interested in learning through art from other cultures, heritages, and experiences. I am also an enthusiast for languages, currently Finnish Sign Language, and lastly, I am involved in Martial Arts.
