Sign Language Day is celebrated every year on February 12th, and this year will be celebrated day seminar at the National Museum. Sign Language-day program focuses on the social and health care services and the development of language conditions.

Sign Language Day will be celebrated for the eighth time
In 2009, Association of the Deaf Federal Assembly decided that every year is celebrated in special days of sign language. The day is intended for the Finnish deaf mother tongues, Finnish and Finnish-Swedish sign language, the feast. Sign Language was chosen for the day 12.2., which is the teaching of deaf father CO Ore (1826-1863) birthday.
