Alan Bulfin concentrates on site-specific process art and performance art. He has worked in Helsinki Creates Work -project, City of Helsinki and he is a member of Pixelache organization in Helsinki. Bulfin supports other art practices by producing Generous Autonomy and Senses of Sustenance (SoS) ecological art events. He will invite artists that are using embodied ways of thinking and art that has a small environmental footprint, using biodegradable materials and actions that are welcoming in their hospitality for all. Bulfin has a studio in Varikko, Seinäjoki. Bulfin has curated with artist Aeon Lux the performance club in Seinäjoen taidehalli 2021 onwards. Bulfin has exhibited throughout Europe in several curated and touring shows, including Knowledge of the Earth, Art Ii biennial in Ii, Dimora OZ and Foundation Orestiadi as part of Manifesta12 -collateral events in Palermo and Gibellina, Sicily, Italy and the 10th Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art, The Spectacle of the Every day, Lyon, France. Bulfin was an Open Award winner at Ev+a 2008 in Ireland.
