Alejandra Alarcón (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist born in Mexico and based in Helsinki working at the intersection of food and art. Her interest in (food) sustainability—the socio-political, cultural and ecological dimensions—is strengthened by a decolonial and ecofeminist approach to knowledge production. She completed an MA in Contemporary Design at Aalto University (2023). Grounded in themes of care, embodied knowledge, and the politics of belonging, her practice often includes cooking, commensality and collective digestions.
