Claudia V.

Artist and illustrator Claudia V. was born in Brazil, and since childhood knew that visual art was her essential form of expression. Her background and 15 years of professional experience as architect and interior designer has shaped an aesthetic sensibility that continues to influence her art. Claudia holds an MA in Creativity and Arts in Social and Health Fields, enabling her to develop skills in working creatively with communities and contributing to their well-being. Since 2016, the artist has devoted herself to art (alongside freelance illustration work), focusing on a painting style that has evolved into a more intuitive one, characterised by vivid colours and organic, natural shapes, reflecting both her Brazilian heritage and the ongoing dialogue with the Finnish landscape and life.
