David Flood

David is an image-maker, educator and PhD candidate at University of Helsinki. His work and research focuses on how images, in particular photography, mediate the world we live in. He teaches photography at the Espoo Adult Education Centre in Tapiola, Espoo. While residing in Ireland he taught photography at places such as the Gallery of Photography and Dún Laoghaire Further Education Institute in Dublin. Formerly a software developer working for large global based corporations, that experience is a key influence in his work, which has been exhibited in various places in both Ireland and Finland.
