I am a visual artist with a focus on painting. I received my MFA in Antwerp, Belgium, and am currently living and working in Helsinki.
My practice revolves around the way we represent the visual world on the flat surface. This includes the methods used for the construction of space and depth, the simulation of light, and the imitation of materiality.
The flat surface can be canvas as well as screen, and I take inspiration from art history as well as Computer Generated Imagery.
