Outi Korhonen participates in the work of Catalysti Association as a collaborator from Arts Council of Finland where she works as the regional artist on cultural diversity. Her main task is to support transcultural artists through different projects and individual guidance. These include networking between artists, producers and other institutions that offer possibilities for artists; production trainings and information services for artists; multilinguistic art education projects and collaboration with event producers in cultural centres. Currently she is also participating in creating inter-European cooperation between organizations that have an intercultural approach to art. Before working at the Arts Council of Finland she has participated in and coordinated projects related to art education and urban development in Helsinki Metropolitan Region, Finland and in Valparaíso, Chile, where she has lived for 5 years together with her bicultural family. She received her Master in Arts degree at University of Art and Design Helsinki (now part of Aalto University) and before that had also studied literature and Finnish language in the University of Helsinki.
