transeuropa2015 is a European festival of performative arts established in 1994. The 8th edition will take place from 27.05. � 01.06.2015 in Hildesheim, Germany. The aim of transeuropa is to support young performing artists in their artistic work. The festival team, consisting of theatre students from Hildesheim, searches for an intensive collaboration with artists and art-collectives. The central part of the next festival will be a two-day transdisciplinary congress dealing with current and future conditions of work and labour in the arts and beyond. All people involved in the festival – artists, audience, festival team – are invited to participate in this program.

The student-organized festival offers you a rehearsal space, a space to stage the project as well as free accommodation in Hildesheim for up to five weeks of rehearsal. For the whole production time in April and/or May 2015 there will be a production assistant from Hildesheim aiding your work. The festival also tries to cover all travel expenses, a production grant and fees. The residency-conditions are discussed and shaped together. With regard to the main topic of the festival, transeuropa is especially interested in how you work and how you are going to collaborate with the festival-team. In order to reflect and communicate your working process to others it is important to us to involve you in transeuropa2015 not only by showing your performances. For the festival we would like to search for ways of mediation and exchange (e.g. workshops) with you.
