The Penitentiary : Battery Project, a summer long exhibition being held at Patarei Prison. We are holding an open call for local artists to submit work for our upcoming August opening. Our project deals with transforming space while reflecting upon its past. We would like to invite artists to submit proposals if they are interested in being a part of the August show!

The Penitentiary is a collaborative umbrella project by artists Marina Andrijcic-Ojeda and Catarina Ferreira. Under this title the artists will operate a series of independent, site-specific art exhibitions to take place in abandoned war-era prisons throughout Eastern Europe.
