World Village Festival (deadline extended!)

Invent a concept on the festival’s theme Future, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development—on this basis, you can design a participatory installation and live art performances.

The festival will provide one container for the installation.

Budget 3000 € (+ 1000 € from other applications).

Happening in April or May 2020 at Vapaan Taiteen Tila

In spring 2019 Catalysti launched the idea to bring together musicians and performance artists to explore the space of Vapaan Taiteen Tila. It was a successful event that showed the synergy between these two art forms.

We would like to give the possibility for more artists to explore the concept of space through sound and performative actions.We look for a curator familiar with both art fields for the 2020 edition.
Budget 2400 €.

Week Against Racism

A live multidisciplinary art event held for one evening. Possible dates/location 19-21.3.2020 at WHS Theatre Union.

We would like performances focusing on diversity, gender-diversity, and the LGBTQ community. Budget 2000 € (+ 1000 € to be applied from the City of Helsinki).
