Open Call for Visual Artists!
Kolo is a collectively run space that functions as a meeting place: for conversation, for film screenings, live music, workshops, a place to take off your shoes, to share a meal, to spark a conversation, and where the unexpected is encountered. And most importantly, it is a place where we can come together. Kolo is seeking submissions from artists who are interested in questioning the potential of art in communal space, outside of the exclusive and traditional gallery setting. How can we use artwork as another language for communication? How do we make lasting impressions within temporary encounters?
