Do you work with production of dance in the Nordic or Baltic countries? Would you like to work with a mentor for a year to help you grow and develop as a producer?
What
Nordic Circle of Artistic Management 2016-2019 � is a program with main mission to support dance producers and self-producing choreographers in production and business management. The projectoffers: a mentor program supporting 16 mentees over a period of one year each. Open workshops linked to major dance conferences in Europe.
Why
The program aims to develop the production and management skills across the field of dance. The mentoring sessions will emphasize the empowerment of the individual, strengthening the competences needed to initiate local, Nordic, Baltic, international and cross border activities.
When
The year of mentorship will begin in Stockholm, where all partners will gather for a two-day workshop on September 27-28, 2017. All applicants need to be available these dates.
During the year of mentorship, the mentees will communicate individually, and meet with their mentors from whom they can receive coaching on general issues concerning their professional development / the development of their company as well as on concrete cases they are dealing with.
The year will finish in September with all the partners meeting again, to share experiences and lessons learnt. Travel and accommodation costs for mentors and mentees will be provided.
Who
The mentors will be professionals with knowledge and experience within arts management in the independent and institutional performing arts field.
The mentees are expected to have some management education and/or some years of experience in professional management work within dance/the performing arts.

� How do you think a mentor could help your work?
� Please make sure you are free September 27-28, 2017 to take part in the program!
The partner organizations will select 8 mentees who will be assigned a mentor from a Nordic or Baltic country. The selection will be announced in April and all mentees need to be able to attend the start-up meeting in September.
