The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation that intends to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union. It came into effect on the 25th May 2018. This regulation is more detailed than the previous one and as such clearly an addition to the already existing regulations on personal data processing.

Who looks and deals with your information:
Catalysti Association of Transcultural Artists ry is a registered association that has 150 members, and we hire one to two interns that regularly update our website and deal with the members applications. These interns change at about a six months period.
It is possible to apply to be a Catalysti member at any time of the year (continuous application) through an online form. There is no membership fee. Members are selected by the association board, on the basis of artistic quality criteria.

We only deal with information that you provided us and we keep that information until you tell us not to do so.
We do not give your information to anyone unless you explicitly say that we must do so, and we limit the personnel who can see your information to the people who need to use it in order to update our website, to send out our invoices, to inform you about open calls and other matters concerning the association, and to answer your questions about different and various matters concerning Catalysti.
During the application process, we only deal with your name, CV and email address. CVs are only intended for the board to evaluate the candidacy and are not published on our website.
When the application is approved, the artist profile will be published on the website’s Artist directory, containing only the information that you sent us through the online form.

It may have some records that it keeps from our communications and that information may or may not move circulate beyond our control.
Our workers and interns are contractually held to not reveal your data.
We are currently working on encrypting your data and our servers.
