The first CatCa took place today (Wednesday 9 Oct 2013) at Made in Kallio, a variety of artists came (form dancers to visual artists and curators to musicians) to have a coffee, chat and find out about Made in Kallio.

It was great to meet new people and discuss about what projects and work everyone is doing.

We got a tour of Made in Kallio where we walked into the pre production of a movie about Tom of Finland, the editing at a T.V station located there, a photography studio and a handmade shoemakers studio just to name a few of the projects coming out of their spaces. A big thanks to all the Made in Kallio people for showing us their space, activities and for just doing what they are doing. We love your work!

CatCa’s purpose is for transcultural artists to build a network of people from various artfields and backgrounds whilst learning about spaces and places in the city they live.These events are for current members and also people who may be interested in joining the association.
