The Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation was established in 2002 to support high-level international research, arts and culture. The Foundation implements this aim by granting donations and scholarships.

 

Helsinki City Grants and Subsidies for Arts and Culture   

Production Grants – For whom: Helsinki-based professional art groups and communities
For what purpose: performing arts, environmental art productions or festivals in Helsinki

Grants for local cultural projects – For whom: For residents, communities, and organisations in Helsinki.
For what purpose: art events or performances or neighbourhood cultural projects in Helsinki

Grants for international travel – For whom: For performing arts professionals (individuals and groups) based in Helsinki.
For what purpose: costs of international travel

 

Taike: Travel grants are 4 times a year

 

Nordic Culture Point – Mobility Funding offers funding for all the fields/sectors of art and culture in the Nordic and the Baltic countries: to professional artists working in all art forms and genres, to authors, translators, curators, producers, cultural editors and researchers etc.

2015 Deadlines: 06.02, 13.04, 20.08, 22.10.

 

Finnish Film Foundation: Scriptwriting support is available for professional fiction and documentary film writers.

There are no deadlines for scriptwriting, applications are handled in incoming order, within 4-6 weeks from the time of submission.
