Kati Roover (b.1982, Estonia) is multidisciplinary artist living and working in Helsinki, Finland. Roover received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts (University of the Arts Helsinki) in 2016. She has taken part in various festivals, screenings and exhibitions in Finland and abroad since year 2007. Her practice spans across the mediums of moving image, community art, sound, photography, text and installations, draws upon and addresses a broad range of topics – from human-non-human interactions, acts of care, mythical storytelling and feminist new materialisms, to the natural sciences and ecology.
