Welcome to  Dance Day!

 

Dance day is divided into two parts. In the morning we talk about the dance financing. Donors are involved in the debate, Ministry of Education and Culture, Kone Foundation, the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the City of Helsinki.
In the afternoon, the floor is the dance scene itself. Our intention is to explore and discuss the development that could take advantage of the wider field of dance.
 
Admission is free and  is intended for both active in the field of dance and dance making decisions for.

Christmas Bazaar at Cultural Centre Stoa, 14th December, 12-17

Friendship organizations, non-govermental organizations, handicraft professionals and artists with different backgrounds gather at Stoa�s lobby to present themselves and sell handicrafts etc. No participation fee.  If you/your organization are interested in taking part in the Bazaar please let me know before 5th of December (send me the name of the organization/artist, contact information and description of what you are offering/selling). There are same rules concerning products that can be sold (for example warm food or drinks cannot be sold and food products have to be packed). A restricted amount of tables can be set in Stoa�s lobby. Registration and more information:050-4125739.

TuPa cooperative’s final establishing meeting on 04.12 in Caisa 4pm, Mikonkatu 17

Welcome to the establishment meeting of TuPa project�s coop!

 

The co-operative will be established on Dec 4th,2013 at the Cultural Centre Caisa, Mikonkatu 17, Helsinki, at 16.00. Even if you have not decided yet whether you will join the coop or not, it will be worthwhile coming to the establishment meeting, because it will enlighten many important details!  Please bring those interested in creative co-operation with you! Also imagine in beforehand what would be a good name for the coop.

 

The agenda of the meeting is:

1. Opening the meeting

2. Choosing the chairman, secretary, the tellers and the auditor of the minutes

3. Stating the ones present, legality of the meeting

4. Approval of the agenda

5. Approval of the rules of the co-op

6. Decision on the co-op membership fee

7. Agreeing on the budget for year 2014

8. Selecting the board and the chairman of the board

9. Signing the incorporation documents of the co-op

10. Other matters

11. Closing the meeting

CatCa in Jangva, November 28th

Catca (Catalysti Cafe) is a regular (one time in ca. 6 weeks) meeting possibility for members of Catalysti. It takes place in different venues in Helsinki. The last (first) one took place in Made in Kallio. The next CatCa will take place in galleria Jangva, a gallery known for its good taste in art and atmosphere. The meeting has an informal character and we hope to get to know you in real.

the CatCa team

TuPa cooperative’s founding seminar 21.11.at Taike

TuPa project has come to the point of forming a cooperative of artists and creative professionals. A seminar that will treat the rules, responsibilities, rights and other issues related to the new cooperative will be organised on Nov 21st 10 am to 3 pm at Kotus-sali, Taike, Vuorikatu 24.

By joining the TuPa project�s cooperative you can practise your creative work like an entrepreneur without an entrepreneur status. This means you don�t loose your social benefits. The producer of the cooperative will take care of part of your marketing, invoicing and bookkeeping.

The cooperative will be established on Dec 4th, 2013. This is one opportunity to employ yourself and build a network with other creative professionals.
